Please arrive at Hut at 12:15 pm to drop gear and load vehicles. We need to depart by 12:45 pm as it is a 1.5-hour drive and our check-in window begins at 2:30 pm sharp
Scouts MUST BE class A uniforms for check-in, dinner and opening night campfire. Please wear a Class B shirt under your Class A shirt
Due to our updated check in time, we will be NOT be stopping along the way for lunch. Please make sure your Scout has eaten lunch before arriving on Sunday

Arrival Back at Scout Hut - Saturday, June 26th
Estimated arrival back at Hut is 10:00 am. Updates on ETA will come through Band and Text via Scoutbook. This is not when Scouts are cleared to leave.
We will aim to depart camp by 8:30 am. Please send your Scout with some snacks for the drive back.
Scouts need to help unload gear and clean up vehicles before being dismissed

Sending Mail/Care Packages to Your Scout:

It is recommend to send letters to Scouts at least three days before you'd like them to arrive and packages at least four days prior. All letters and packages that arrive after a Scout has left camp will be returned to the sender.
Family Night at Camp Raven Knob:
At Camp Raven Knob, Wednesday evening is Family Night! Parents and other family members are encouraged to come visit their Scout and friends for dinner and special campfire ceremony.
Camp Raven Knob provides a fried chicken on Wednesday evening that is enjoyed in the unit campsites. This typically includes fried chicken, baked beans, pasta salad, dinner roll and a slice of pound cake. This is included in the Scouts' camp fee. Visitors will need to pay a modest fee for this meal. We will need to know if you plan to join us no later than 12:00 pm Monday, June 21st. The RSVP for family night will be available in April of 2027.
Vehicles are allowed into camp on Wednesday evenings. Visitors should not plan to arrive at Raven Knob before 5:30 pm, as Scouts will be involved in merit badge sessions that afternoon and will need time to take a shower and change clothes. The campfire/concert begins at 8:15 pm and lasts until approximately 9:15 pm. Visitors should plan to leave shortly after the conclusion of the campfire so that Scouts and leaders can get a good night's sleep! There are no facilities at Camp Raven Knob for visitors to stay overnight.
Scout Money for Trading Post/Snack Shack
The Camp Raven Knob Trading Post is the hub for everything your scout might need while at camp - from camp supplies to a snack shack. The camp recommends that each scout bring a minimum of $80 to camp to make purchases throughout the week. The trading post takes all major credit cards, along with Apple Pay & Google Pay
The camp recommendation is for scouts to bring a re-loadable payment card with them. Parents can load the card with money & view the balance of the card; you can also add more money to the card throughout the week if your scout is running low. The recommended card is the Vanilla Visa Card which can be purchased here: https://www.myvanillacard.com/
