Please note our new location. This Court of Honor will be held in the main sanctuary, not the Kerr Building where we have met in the past.
We will be recognizing and awarding all ranks and merit badges earned over the summer. Parents, be sure to join us! Please drop off your Scout in the lobby, then head inside and grab a seat.
We will also hold our fall leadership elections at Monday's meeting. Voting is limited to Scouts attending in person, so be there if you want a say in who leads the Troop for the next six months.
UNIFORM IS FULL CLASS A WITH SASH!

DEADLINE CAMP DANIEL BOONE RSVP CLOSES MONDAY
CAMP DANIEL BOONE — CANTON, NC
SEPTEMBER 11-13, 2026
RSVP DEADLINE: MONDAY, AUG 31ST
Monday is the deadline to RSVP for our September trip to Camp Daniel Boone. If your Scout is coming, please complete the form before the end of the meeting.
As discussed at the last PLC, we are shifting our backpacking trips to the fall, and Camp Daniel Boone lets us offer backpacking for those interested and traditional camping for those who prefer not to backpack.
Backpackers ($15) will take a 12-mile trek covering part of the Art Loeb Trail, one of NC's most popular backpacking trails, including Shining Rock, and the Little East Fork Trail past the headwaters of the Pigeon River. The trek starts and ends inside Camp Daniel Boone. Each hiker is responsible for their own meals.
Traditional campers ($50) will spend the weekend patrol camping with normal cooking by patrol, at one of Scouting America's most popular camps and the highest elevation camp east of the Mississippi.
The difference in cost reflects site fees and food provided for traditional campers, which backpackers do not incur.
Departure is Friday, September 11 at 6:00 pm, returning Sunday, September 13 at 1:00 pm. Packing list coming soon. Please reach out to Mr. Hall with any questions.
